SWIMMING CLASSES

SWIMMING CLASSES AND LESSONS

AQUAROBICS

A fun and invigorating all over body workout in the water designed to effectively burn calories with minimal impact on the body. Great for those who are new or returning to exercise.  Clare runs classes every Saturday morning during the main season  from 9.30am to 10.15am.  This is during a public session and is not a private booking, so please be mindful of other pool users.  Class takes place in deep water so you must be able to swim.

SWIMMING LESSONS – SUMMER 2017

You can now book summer swimming lessons for children and adult improvers online via Eventbrite, or in person at  Reception.

We are offering lessons  for children, stages 1 to 6, and adult improvers. Our qualified coaches can help you learn new skills, polish up existing skills and grow in confidence – all while having a lot of fun in our beautiful heated pool.

Lessons will run in blocks of five 30 minute lessons, one lesson per morning, each week for the whole week (Monday to Friday).

The first block is w/c 24th July 2017, and the last block is w/c 21st August 2017.

The timetable is as follows, and is the same for each week:

Adult improvers: 0830-0900

Stage 1/2: 0900-0930

Stage 3/4: 0930-1000

Stage 5/6: 10-1030

The cost is just £30 for the entire course of lessons, and spaces are very limited.

Please note that once you have booked and paid for your lessons we cannot offer refunds to you under any circumstances, so please be sure that you (or your child) can attend before booking. The lessons will go ahead whatever the weather, because the water is nice and toasty warm. In the very unlikely event that we are forced to cancel the lessons then you will, of course, be refunded in full.

If you are unsure which stage would be most suitable for your child please call the pool and ask to speak to our manager Emma Hill. If she is not available when you call you can leave a message and she will respond as soon as she is able.

Please arrive a little early for the first lesson as you will need to fill out a brief form regarding medical history etc.

FAQs

Are existing season tickets / multi-swim tickets valid for the lessons?

No – season tickets / multi-swim tickets are not valid. You must book and pay for the lessons in full.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit for the swimming lessons?

No, but if your child is under 8 years old we will require you to remain in the pool area while they have their lesson, in accordance with our standard operating procedure. You will be welcome to swim too, either at the same time as your child or to swim with them after their lesson; all you need to do is pay for your swimming, or show your season ticket / multi-swim ticket, at reception when you bring your child for their lesson.

What are my transport/parking options?

Parking is plentiful and free, right outside the pool.

Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?

You can email emmahppct@gmail.com

Is my booking transferrable to someone else?

No. Please ensure that you, or your child, can attend before booking.

Do I have to bring my printed confimration to the lessons?

Yes, please bring the eventbrite confirmation (to either show on screen, or printed out on paper) to confirm you have booked the lessons.

What is the refund policy?

The lessons will go ahead regardless of the weather, so refunds will not be given under those circumstances. If you book lessons, but later find you cannot come, no refund is available. Your booking is valid only for the week and class in question, and are not transferrable to other weeks / classes. In the unlikely event we are forced to cancel the lessons due to technical problems full refunds will be given.

The name on the booking confirmation doesn’t match the swimmer’s name. Is that okay?

That’s fine, if the swimmer is a child and the lessons have been booked by a parent / carer. For adult improvers the name on the confirmation should be the swimmer’s name.
