The Portishead Open Air Pool is operated by teams of volunteers, with paid life guard and management staff. Any current vacancies are listed below.
Lifeguard VacanciesLifeguards wanted for Portishead Open Air Pool from 30th April until mid-September 2010.
Salary / Hours of work: 10-36 hours per week. £5.10-£5.80 per hour depending on experience and in line with the national minimum wage.
The main purpose of these posts is to supervise the security and safety of the public in all areas of the facility, carry out rescues if required, assist the pool/duty manager in the preparation of the pool in a professional manner.
All posts will require a CRB check and will require a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
